
20Cr steel is a chromium alloy structural steel. 20Cr is the grade of GB standard, the corresponding JIS standard is SCr420, ASTM or AISI standard is 5120 steel, ISO or DIN standard is 20Cr4.
It is low hardenability carburized steel. Most of them are used to manufacture carburized parts with high core strength requirements, surface wear, cross-section below 30mm, or complex shapes and low load. For example: machine tool gearbox gears, gear shafts, cams, worms, piston pins, dog clutches, etc.
