DX56D+Z galvanized steel is a premium grade of galvanized steel defined as “Extra Deep Drawing Quality.”
It represents the highest level of formability in its series, designed to withstand the most severe and complex stamping and drawing operations. This grade is utilized when even standard deep-drawing steels cannot meet the extreme material flow and stretching requirements. The +Z indicates a hot-dip zinc coating that provides reliable rust protection. DX56D+Z is therefore essential for producing the most challenging components, particularly in the automotive industry for parts requiring maximum ductility.
