1023 is an American standard carbon steel, which is between Chinese standard (GB/T) No. 20 steel and No. 25 steel. C (%) content 0.20-0.25, Mn (%) content 0.30-0.60, P (%) ≤ 0.040, S (%) ≤ 0.050.
1023 material is equivalent to 20# steel or 1020 material, is a kind of mild carbon steel. It is also know as S20C steel.
AISI 1023 steel has a wide range of applications, especially in all industrial sectors to improve their weldability or mechanical properties.
Due to its cold drawn or turned and polished finish properties,
