DX53D+Z galvanized steel is a highly capable grade of hot-dip galvanized steel from the EN 10346 standard. Also defined as “Drawing Quality,” DX53D offers superior ductility and drawing performance compared to DX52D.
This enhanced capability is guaranteed by stricter controls on its mechanical properties, resulting in greater elongation. It is designed for more demanding drawing applications that require a higher degree of material stretch without failure. The ‘+Z’ suffix ensures robust corrosion protection from its hot-dip zinc coating. DX53D+Z is perfect material when manufacturing components with more intricate shapes, bridging the gap between simple drawing and deep-drawing requirements.
